Guidance Department
The mission of the guidance department is to focus on both the academic and personal needs of each individual student. Academically, the department advises students in the selection of courses in preparation for college and professional life. Personally, the department helps students to understand themselves in relation to the world in which they live, to recognize their strengths and weaknesses, and to develop an ability to cope with and solve problems. This may be accomplished in an individual, small group or class setting. The members of the department recognize that educational, personal and social components contribute to the development of the whole individual.
