We are all very excited for this weekend’s Spring Concerts at Holy Name. These will be performed in the Burke Center for the Performing Arts on Friday evening at 7:00 and on Sunday evening at 6:00. Tickets are general admission at the cost of five dollars each with a family cap of twenty dollars. Having listened in on a few of the rehearsals, I can proudly state that this concert will be one of the very best in recent history, and a five dollar admission is easily the best entertainment value in Central Massachusetts this weekend!
We salute Mr. Dan Gabel, our Music Director, and Ms. Sarah Callinan, our Chorus Director, on a job well done. They have both put in countless hours working with their students during rehearsals after school, and I am certain that the results of this dedication will be evident. The concert will feature music from Broadway as well as Hollywood, and the presentation will differ from the traditional format, featuring set pieces and a great deal of chorus/band collaboration.
We are very proud to be able to offer such an outstanding fine arts program at Holy Name! We believe that the arts are essential to the school experience and an invaluable part of Holy Name’s faith formation. We hope that you will take some time this weekend to experience this firsthand. God Bless You and Yours!
